In the demo, you noticed that the
cutters were designed, where possible, to cut the liner and mat.
There is an over-cut on the liner on the 16x20 size, cannot be helped,
but not too noticeable. As mentioned, the standard sizes are being
designed for, and their openings are approximately as listed. These
openings have been taken from several catalogues who may supply several
per mat size, so I used averages:
5x7 = 3”x 4 7/8” 8x10 = 4 5/8” x 6 5/8” There are several manufacturers of hand-held cutting devices, and they are all very different. We are trying to design for at least one from each manufacturer as we get to them. Some are larger than others, some may not provide the features we need, but we do plan to give you choices. These are the Mat Multicutters we have so far: For use with the Logan 2000: 8x10 # 8x10MMLOG20 It cuts the 8”x 10” mat and its liner.
